Special activities of the Dutch Carmelite Institute

The Project Monasticon Carmelitanum Neerlandicum is an initiative of the Dutch Carmelite Institute in Boxmeer and carried out by the historian Dr. Antoine Jacobs, in collaboration with The Catholic University of Nijmegen (CCE) and the Titus Brandsma Institute, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Peter Nissen. As there is a lack of information about the history of the Dutch Province, the project aims to collect and describe the sources of the Carmelite History in the Netherlands from its very beginning. The project started in October 2003.

The monasticon will be published in 2010.
